Caring for someone with cognitive impairments, physical limitations, or behavioral and mental health concerns can be deeply challenging. It’s not unusual to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or in need of guidance and new skills.
My role is to walk beside you—step by step—throughout your caregiving journey. Together, we will uncover needs and bridge the gaps for both you and your loved one. This may involve:
✨Preliminary cognitive assessment screen
✨Assessing for home safety, recommended modifications or needed safety equipment
✨Learning strategies to assist with memory impairment and building healthier habits
✨Evaluate what legal and/or financial services are needed to plan for the future
✨Discussing and choosing advanced directives and assigning proxies.
✨Setting up companionship, home care, palliative care or hospice services ✨Considerations for safe downsizing or move to senior living or memory care
✨Addressing nutritional, medication management, or transportation needs
✨Identifying and making specialist referrals
✨Seeking local social opportunities and activities for overall quality of life and joy.
✨Strengthening your caregiving (including personal care) and communication skills
✨Learning tools to minimize your minor symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress related to your overall caregiver burnout.
You will gain expert guidance, curated resources, and personalized tools to also help you prioritize self-care while easing the pressures of caregiving.

As an experienced support group facilitator, I also host empowering group sessions (when there are at least 4 attendees) where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. These groups offer information, education, and validation, along with the encouragement and camaraderie of others navigating similar challenges. Together, we’ll lift each other up and celebrate every “win,” big or small.
